Transitions
Transitions are not only tough on the client, but they are very stressful for the family. We will be there EVERY step of the way to make the transition as seamless as possible. Being discharged from the hospital or rehab has its own sets of challenges. We want to lift that burden. We will directly communicate with case managers/ RNs and other hospital or rehab care providers to understand the exact discharge instructions and any other information that will be helpful in making life at home easier. We will also be there to make sure all follow up appointments are schedule and provide the transportation.
Companion Care
It is proven that seniors or cognitively impaired individuals do overall better when they are engaged. It is important to be a friend as well as a caregiver. Our caregivers will converse, play games, tell stories, and many other things to continue engaging the client.
Personal Care
We encourage our clients to feel as independent as possible. That starts with having the right to choose! If staying in your own home is what you choose to do, we then allow you to choose the caregiver that you feel the most comfortable with. We like to facilitate a bond between the client and caregiver. This helps facilitate a smooth transition for clients having in home care. We customize a care plan exclusively for you. We understand that everyone’s needs, likes, dislikes, and wants are different.
Transportation
Don’t worry about getting back a fourth to the doctor visit or missing any of your appointments again! We will be there to take you to and from. We also encourage our clients to go out for lunch, to the park, or even visit a friend. Enjoying life like you once did is possible again. Let us help make life easier.
Medication Reminders
We can ensure our clients are taking their medication at the right time and never miss a dose. Our aides cannot administer meds or fill pill boxes, but they can ensure they are taking whats needed at the right time. If a family member is not available to fill the pill boxes we can provide a registered nurse to handle that for you.
Meal Preparation
We are prepared to cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks . We can follow any special diet requests as well as follow any dietary restrictions. Eating well is a huge factor in overall health and wellness. We can assist with physically feeding if needed as well.
Toileting and Incontinence Care
Maintaining dignity and sense of pride is a top priority! We understand issues with incontinence can be very upsetting and embarrassing to many people. This is a very common issue and we are professionals at toileting schedules and all areas of incontinence. This issue is extremely important and must be addressed properly. Unfortunately skin break down, infection, pain and a variety of other issues can be a result of not handling incontinence properly. Let us help you not worry! Our caregivers all very will handle incontinence with the utmost respect allowing our clients to keep their dignity in tact.
Household Care
Laundry
You let us know how you like it and that’s how it will be done. We are ready to do all of your laundry and bedding on a daily basis if need be. The feeling of clean, ironed, fresh clothes is very important. It helps clients feel their best, without having the inconvenience and the danger of trying to complete this task alone. To awake in a bed of clean fresh bedding and know you will have clean fresh clothes is something many of us take for granted. It does wonders for clients’ confidence.
Light Housekeeping
Many seniors or individuals with disabilities have a housekeeper to keep thing looking and feeling fresh. This ALL-INCLUSIVE service can help you cut costs. Allow us to do all of your light housekeeping. We will dust, vacuum, Sweep, mop, dishes, clean clients bathroom, and all other client living spaces, assist in organizing draws and cupboard to make life easier and more accessible, take out trash and recycling amongst many other things. Good Housekeeping can also overall assist in the clients well being and comfort.
Grocery Shopping
Personal shopper! If the client would like to ride along to do small errands, such as grocery store, pharmacy, or post office, our aides are prepared and ready to go at no additional charge (mileage may apply). If the client prefers not to go, but still would like this service and can not be left alone, all you have to do is call.
Our 24/7 on call staff will gladly fulfill your grocery/supply orders and deliver them to your front door for a small additional charge. We will buy your groceries for you or any supplies you need and simply bill you later. This service is geared toward making life easier and helping to eliminate any unwanted stress.
